Tape doesn't hold everything..

Soon the year of 2013 will end and a new fresh 2014 will begin! But first shall Engelholmsrevyn have it's premiere! Today they had a little sneekpeek-tryout-audience to see if the show works and to fire up the ensemble a bit. It went really good and will get even better in two days at the premiere  :) Tomorrow it's dress rehearsal and hopefully the theatre will be crowded!

Sweden's got talent

During two days I was working as an usher on the Swedish version of "America's got talent" that had it's last audition stop in Helsingborg. It was a lot of fun! :)

Set design for TV

So, the last thing we did in school/Skellefteå before we went our seperates ways again with the next internship-periods and the final exam-projects we did a little set design project that had to do with a TV programme, a pre-visualization of it. Before we got started we had some background information about the programme idea, it was going to be a kind och talk-show with some games for the diffrent guests to play. Hers's my idea how the set could look like. I placed a huge armadillo (Bälta in swedish) just because I wanted to :) a little humour and ironi kind of thing. The animal is therefore also part in my name for the show, "Belta Air" (mix between Bälta and Delta Air because the focus of the show should be on travel)

Halloween 2013

I didn't think I should do it this year but I did, kind of in the last second but anyway...I did my annual Jack-o-lantern for Halloween. I always do a little more advanced pumpkins with motives, often from a block buster movie from the current year. This year I did the famous motive from Les Miserables :)

Metal sculpture

Another part of the Skellefteå courses now are to make a metal sculpture that is going to have pieces of fire, hopefully on monday if the wheather conditions are good enough for it. Pictures of the sculpture is coming after it has been burned but here's a teaser how the sculpture looks right now :)

Fake wood and marble painting

Now we'd begun with our courses in Skellefteå after our hectic period in Stockholm. We have had two evening courses in painting fake wood and marble. The wood we made were pine, oak and mahogny and the marble were Carrara marble, Kolmårds-marble and St Anne marble.

The green one is Kolmårds-marble and the white is Carrara

The short movie project

Now I have time to write! I have been EXTREMELY busy with the short movie that we did in Stockholm with other film students from Stockholms Dramatiska högskola (Stockholm academy of dramatic arts). We had our period of shooting last week and though it was intense and stressful it went well. Very well actually :) The movie I worked with, "LAKSHMI", had 8 different locations, so it was A LOT of planning before the actual shooting. The locations we had was a gym hall, a forest (that we made magical and colorful), a hospital room, an open grave (that we built in a studio) and a home with a bed room, kitchen, dining area and a storage room. The movie it self is about an indian girl (adopted) that lives with her adoptive parents in Sweden. In the movie the girl (only surronded with white people) starts to change her skin colour, she's beginning to be more and more white skinned. The movie is very dreamy and poetic so it's a bit hard to explain it..Sadly we were so busy all the time that we didn't took so many pictures but here is a few of some of the locations. Hopefully I will get pictures from the other crew members and then I can post more pictures here :)

Here we go again!

Last week I attended my third musical-academy in Lund and this time we did a stage version of the animated movie ANASTASIA! And it was awesome!!! I had such a great time and it was sooo much fun :D I had to play 5 different parts, first a russian thief/pick-pocket that I named Ruslana, then Rasputin including the first half of the song "In the dark of the night" (this was the funniest part this week), a zombie/demon/Rasputin-minion, a Parisian painter (where I actually live-sketched a portrait of the girl who played Anastasia in that scene) and last but not least, the dowager empress Marie.
(sadly I don't own any picture of me on stage yet or a picture of me as Marie because of my 60 sec change from the painter to her)

Eurovision Song Contest 2013!

Last week I was in Malmö to watch Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö Arena. I was at the first semi final on thursday and then the gran final on saturday (!) It was absolutely amazing, what an event it is and I could really feel the slogan "We are one", especially on the grand final. See you next year in Denmark then, only 20 min away from this years place :)

A better viewing of the stage. Isn't it pretty?

The intro, Eurovision Anthem

The winner, Denmarks Emmelie de Forest with "Only Teardrops"

Directly after the show this stood outside the arena. Pretty fast, don't you think?

Dinosaurs!

For about a week I get to work with a dinousar exhibition in Halmstad Arena. The exhibition shows dinosaur fossils, some of them is about 300 million years old! (the whole exhibition contain 80% real fossils). We got to fix and decorate the podiums where the fossils stands and also hang up fabric in the arena hall. This was really a fun and rememberable week, who had thought I would get to work so near a 300 million year old Tyrannosaurus Bataar? :)

A normal day at work. Just me, taping under a Tyrannosaurus Bataar ;)

I don't have any pictures of the end result with lights and everything but I hope I can post that later.

Some of my resent work on stage

Because of that some of my last work was for the stage and haven't had their opening nights yet, I couldn't post any pictures of it but NOW it's time for them! :)

I'll start with the last thing I blogged about: High School Musical On Stage!

Two big theatre masks

The second thing: The Anniversary Dance Show with Dansfabriken.
25 boxes that created a painting of the Dansfabriken logo.

Sadly, I don't have any good pictures of the end result on stage.
